We have built Southern Furniture Movers around the commercial industry. We know how important it is to get your goods from manufacturing to store, or direct to client, in a timely manner, on time and in good condition! Give us a call to find out more!

Commercial Deliveries

Do you own a store that sells furniture and / fragile items? If so, we can take all of the hassle out of distribution for you. All you need to do is book it in with us and we will take care of the rest, including liaising with your clients – a full customer service experience.

Direct To Customer Deliveries

Want to take the hassle out of end customer deliveries? We can help!

All you need to do is give us all of the information as to what and where, and we will take care of the rest for you!

We offer a full range of services, including setting up of some furniture products onsite, removal of rubbish and of course, placement in your clients home. We also offer a disposal service and often donate these items to charity. Paying it forward to help our community!

MPI Approved Transitional Facilities

Our branches in Christchurch and Auckland are MPI Approved Transitional Facilities for devanning import and domestic containers for distribution.

Scheduled Nationwide Services

Our services throughout New Zealand are scheduled. This means that you know every week where our trucks will be and when. This gives you the ability to give your client a date for delivery that you can rely on.

Also, our TMS (Transport Management System) is accessible for clients, including the ability to track your goods in real time. Proof of Deliveries are sent automatically from our system as soon as they’ve been signed off to the receiving client, to an email address designated by you, our customer. This gives you a GPS stamped POD that includes the clients signature and the truck it was delivered on.

3PL Services

Southern Furniture Movers offers a full 3PL (third-party logistics) service. From devanning of containers to consolidating goods and delivery to end client. You tell us what and where, and we will take care of it for you! We have a reliable and easy to use WMS that clients can see in real time, so everything is transparent! Just the way we like it.

One Item Deliveries

We are available to collect those Trademe items for you if you can’t get them yourself, all you need to do is email us with the details including the contact details for the seller, and we will arrange collection directly, no need to be the middle man!

Storage

Need some storage for awhile? Give us a call! We have space for commercial goods in our branches now!

Household Removals

Southern Furniture Movers Ltd are no longer providing a Local household removal service in any branches. This is due to our commitment to our Commercial clients which is the core of our business.

We are able to complete one item moves, or small bedroom moves, within your city or across New Zealand, we are here to help for those – Get in touch for a competitive quote! Please note: Quotes are only processed Monday – Friday and can take between 24-48 hours for a response. This does not include weekends.

Being that the core of our business is new furniture and fragile freight, our team know how to care for your personal effects as if they were their own, and we take great pride in that.
